Ahlan wa Sahlan to The Farha Tour 2008! The Tour is proudly brought to you by Australia's very own Amera's Palace Belly Dance boutique. It's going to be a history-making event for the Australian Belly Dance community and the Farha Tour team is proud to be presenting such an exciting and dynamic experience. Normally, the only place you can see and participate in an event of this caliber is in the Middle East, but now lovers of the Middle Eastern performing arts have the fantastic opportunity to enjoy this entertainment within Aussie shores! Oi! Oi! Oi!

After having proven to be a great success throughout Europe, we assure you that The Farha Tour 2008 will not disappoint. With both an international and national cast of professional Middle Eastern dancers, musicians and instructors, how can we go wrong?! The stunning Madame Randa Kamel will take centre stage with the live Egyptian Orchestra, Fer'et El Negoum. Cairo dancers, Yasmina and Australia's very own, Caroline, will dazzle you with the grace, precision and playfulness that is typical of the Egyptian style of Oriental Dance. The folkloric style of Mohamed Kazafy, one of the lead dancers of the well-known Reda Troupe, and Australia's top Egyptian folkloric troupe, Farrah - Rakasat Fanana Masrea, will take you back to the roots of Belly Dance, whilst the Whirling Dervish will put you in a trance! The beautiful voices of Safaa Farid and Shaabi singer, Hoda, will also leave you wanting more!

Want more? Then don't forget to book early to ensure your place in one, or many of the fantastic dance and music workshops that are being presented at The Farha Tour 2008. With a line up showcasing many of Sydney's best and most in demand instructors, and of course our international stars, you will have to be quick as places are limited.

If that wasn't enough, for three days and three nights the Parramatta Riverside Theatre courtyard will be transformed into the pseudo Khan El Khalili markets direct from Cairo. Ogle at stunning costumes from Egypt, mingle with their designers, be henna tattooed in the tradition of the Ghawazee or simply relax, take in the ambience and watch the dance and music performances, all whilst puffing away on a shisha!

For more information and to book your tickets, please visit the Farha Tour website www.farhatour.com.au.

It's going to be an amazing three days so book early to get a good seat at the Cairo Nights concerts and a guaranteed position in your preferred workshop. See you there!
